| EAST RIDGE POLICE DEPARTMENT | The East Ridge Police Department is a full service, state certified police agency providing our citizens with excellent services from several divisions including; patrol division, criminal investigations division, special operations division, records/communications division and specialized units such as canine officer, school resource officer and traffic investigators.
Deputy Chief Steve Mize supervises all day-to-day operations and reports to the Police Chief/Director of Public Safety. Chief Mize is a 26-year veteran of law enforcement. He is a state certified officer and has served as a patrol shift supervisor and commander of the criminal investigation division prior to his promotion to Deputy Chief in 2001.

Captain Tim Mullinax supervises Administrative Services, which consist of the Criminal Investigations Division (CID), Communications/Records Divisions, and Special Operations Division which also consist of the SWAT team, canine team, crime prevention division, and tactical patrol division.
