The East Ridge Community Center is an East Ridge facility the public has at its disposal. Located beside City Hall and the Pioneer Frontier Playground, it is a valued asset to the City. Open Tuesday through Saturday, kids can come and spend their afternoons after school playing basketball and hanging out with friends.
Monday through Saturday mornings from 8 until 12, senior citizens can enjoy company with friends as they play cards, walk in the gym, watch television, play a game of pool and enjoy each other's company.
On Tuesday and Thursday nights at 6 and Saturday mornings at 9, members can enjoy an aerobics class taught by a phenomenal instructor that will definitely get your blood circulating and feeling great at the end of class.
Membership fees are $10 for residents and $30 for non-residents per year. Aerobics membership is $35 per year. COMMUNITY CENTER PROGRAMS The East Ridge Community Center offers several programs that kids can participate in. In the Fall, football and cheerleading kicks off the season and Winter brings basketball. For adults, we offer aerobics classes Tuesdays & Thursdays at 6pm and Saturdays at 9am. COMMUNITY CENTER RENTALS
The Community Center is also available for rentals for your family reunion, birthday parties, church social or any event that having a larger facility would accommodate. Rental Rate for sections of the Community Center is $35 per hour, with a maximum of 6 hours. The areas that are for use are the Senior Side, Large Room, Small Room, and Gym.
